Bwahahahah, I really really should have watched the 1995 Hanadan movie sooner, it was such a fun experience :).

All the people I recognize are so young in it! And Tanihara Shosuke with that greasy hair and shirtless vest looks nothing like that restrained and quiet doctor from Love Shuffle or the announcer from Ousama no Brunch XD... Heee!!!! Not ( Read more... )

You say Tanihara Shosuke looks young, but it's boggling me that he looks EXACTLY THE SAME. He has a few more lines around his mouth now, but... omfg.

Heh, isn't the, um, 'unique' fashion usually used in all adaptations of HYD part of it's charm *g*...

Dude, this looks crazy. What a gem! Did you like it, though? Would you recommend it to people who like the HYD story?

It was really crazy and I was having great fun watching it! Still, I wouldn't really recommend this to anybody else but Hanadan fans who have already seen at least some of/all of the other versions as well and want to compare.

Also, AFAIK, there are no subs for this, so you need to know the basic story well enough to follow along if you don't speak Japanese. But just look at the caps, doesn't that make you want to watch it and mock :D...
