I love making blood agar and chocolate agar ^____^

I remember the first time I did that (3rd year college) and we were all paranoid about the agar temperature, and then my classmate was swirling the flask so hard so bubbles were accumulating, and of course there should be no bubbles when dispensing and we had no idea how to remove the bubbles that did appear...oh the days of college XDD

Preparing the blood and chocolate agar during internship was much more fun XD I can proudly say I am an expert! Haha. I can't count how many 500ml batch preps I did for the whole year XD;;; I remember the constant trips to the blood bank for expired blood, or hunting of willing type O donors for the agar *wistful sigh*

I love butt-slants the best XDD I remember one batch making we had, and my cointern who was assisting me was so amused that all the tubes had the same level dispensed on them even without the use of a rack to mark the levels. She was going 'Woot mel! Factory made!' XDD

Hahaha. I had one instance of solid globs too. Twas when we made choc agar back in RMC because my cointern didn't exactly mix it well. I dunno what he did. We were still able to salvage it...but the staff was pissed haha XD

I love making choc agar more, since there's no need to be paranoid about the temperatures (unless we needed to add antibiotics in), unlike blood agar that you have to cool abit...and of course we start going 'don't disturb me! nagdidispense ako! matitigasan na ako!' XD

erm yes perversion runs rampant in the lab XD

Yeah. Actually, Thursday lab is the fun and evil lab class. Composition: Mga Dukha (minus you), Sister Chromatids, Bram (w/out Omar), Jerwyn, Beng, Adrian, Emlet and Ate Kristina. So,yeah, we are fun and ebil.

Oo nga, eh. Nung si Gabby na yung tatalon sa level 3 na ata, biglang tumakbo si Bram. XD
