VidUKon 2014?

Hello everyone!

The VidUKon con committee have been discussing the idea of running a VidUKon in 2014 in Cardiff - the first one to be an annual event, rather than a biennial one. The short version is this... we're willing to run a VidUKon next year if you're willing to attendObviously, there's a minimum attendence we'd need to be able to break

I had to go and look up what the Download Festival was. I'm rather sad that way. It would be great to see you at the con! It's too early yet to say when the con will happen if it happens - but speaking for me (rather than the con comm as a whole) I think it's looking very promising, and there are several popular dates that aren't that weekend, so I think you're in with a good chance :) I know that we'll do everything we can to be as accomodating as possible.

I totally failed to attend this year but I attended and actually contributed to one before that. Timing is not really an issue for me, I just need to focus and decide early enough to get myself sorted out for it.

So Yay! I hope it does become an annual event :D I think it's brilliant that we have something going on over here.

I remember you from VidUKon 2011 :) It'd be great to see you at the next one if you can join us. We're discussing numbers and dates behind the scenes at the moment - we'd definitely like to make it an annual event if there's the interest...
