I saw the new Pirates of the Caribbean last night. There were several people in piratical garb and one guy perplexingly dressed as Spiderman. You know it's got to be a bitch if someone sits in front of you with a big pirate hat.

I went to see Grindhouse Monday night. I know that's an odd night to see a movie, but I had to go to my parents' for the weekend so I wasn't able to see it then. I was adding some stuff to my
dark_gate fic play list and I was reminded once again how much I really, really love the Rescue Me soundtrack. The show always has really great music and has introduced me to some great new bands. Well, I had a nice little holiday. I did absolutely nothing but lounge around and nap. It felt good. Especially because my neighborhood sounded like downtown Baghdad all night with all the firecrackers and bottle rockets zooming by.

Saw  X3 this weekend. Strangely, being the spoiler whore that I am I didn't really go digging around, so I walked into the flick pretty much unspoiled. Overall I was pretty pleased.
