And who to their wondering eyes should appear? No, not him, that holiday's not until December, but it does make a good opening line.

Hans, dressed as Robin Hood, does cut a rather dashing figure indeed. "What ho, children! How are you this happy evening?" He flashes a roguish smile for mommy too!

Ali would be pretty worried if Santa showed up to the Halloween party, so it's good he hasn't.

No, she much prefers Hans as Robin (even if he isn't wearing tights), and gives him a warm hug just as soon as she can get through the swarms of costumed kidlets. "Well now, it's about time my dashing thief came to save me," she teases before stealing a kiss. "I'm glad you could come."

And there's an incoming bombardment of monkey-baby in three...two...OMG what's that on your head, Hans? It's not your hat, it's an Alured (trying to eat your hat)! He's soon followed by his older siblings, who crowd around and even push Ali out of the way a bit in their quest for hugs and compliments.

Except Ingress. She's a lady, and waits politely for her turn.

"It looks like you've been missed," Ali comments, ruffling Clara's hair affectionately. "Missed more than manners, I think."
