The acting is SO BAD though. Except Colin Firth obviously.

BUT

....man i can't even argue, mostly because i hardly remember. my marathon watches of this usually involve a lot of brandy and tea and excessive amounts of chocolate and talking over the episodes and never actually finishing, and i haven't done that in years

I'm 100% sure alcohol would improve it a lot. People keep telling me it's great so I tried it and was just...unimpressed. But maybe alcohol is the solution.
