I hope, even if it lighter than you'd expected, that 'lil sis' gets more than a slap on the wrist. I was worried about her and her friend, and still am, but she can't get off easy, or she may do it again soon.
They're working on determining her punishment. It's much lighter than what I would have gotten. I think so far, the best thing they're doing is taking her to confession. I think it's extremely important for her to acknowledge what happened and speak with her spiritual elder about it.
Yup. Bread and water, basically. I'd be lucky to still have a room, and I would likely be back on ye old yellow school bus if I had previously had driving privileges.
Plus my mom is old school, so I'd likely be subject to a pretty good spanking, teen or not. Actually I think it's more humiliating to have that happen at that age.
