So Gwen called me yesterday to come up and go horseback riding with her. 'Twas quite fun; I rode Maverick, she rode Mike. And this morning I woke up under the weight of two cats. Twenty-five pound Lana was on my chest, and the much lighter calico kitty was on my belly.

Despite the weight, it felt nice.

In high school, I had heard of Vampire: The Masquerade and I was interested. I had also heard of Exalted, but very little about it. I heard of Werewolf, and again, didn't know much about it. Now, I have had some serious issues with D&D. Certain rules are simply ignored, such as the weight factor to various clothings, and almost no one plays a wizard because keeping track of memorized spells is a bitch and there's an alternative without much of a drawback: The sorcerer. It started out, I think, with Quest for Glory. QfG was adventure RPG made by Sierra in the early 1990's. It didn't sell well, but it has cult following that has slowly grown over time.
