Thank you! Yes, I'm planning on making everything I write this time around be in the same world, but not necessarily the same time. So this one takes place maybe ten to fifteen years later than my last one. :)

Thank you! It's actually part of the same world as the last one I wrote, sort of a dystopian thing, where there's a deadly virus going around, but big chunks of the world go almost full Handmaid's Tale style crazy with restrictions. So these kids have never seen each other's lips because they are forced to always have their faces covered completely.

Since this takes place in winter, the balaclavas are part of their "winter uniform," and every kid in school has one on. I imagine in the warmer months they're required to wear something more like a gaiter style face covering.

Thank you! I don't really want to write about action heroes taking on a corrupt system - I want to explore what everyday people are doing with their lives in a strange environment. I'm having fun with these. :) And I do have some ideas already to explore what's going on over in the Free States!
