so i spent a good portion of my free time this week going back through lj and putting tags on entries. categorization has always been one of those things i've enjoyed doing. i'm sure i haven't perfected the entries or anything, and of course, not all entries are tagged, and a few have multiple tags. but i'd say i have a good collection of stuff

I remember when I wrote about a blackout in Pittsburgh, and realized that there were enough posts about blackouts (here and during my time in Rochester) to warrant a blackout tag. That was the only time I went through all my old entries for the sole purpose of tagging back entries. See, before I switched to Livejournal, I had a few years' worth of posts on Deadjournal that I had carted over here when I converted. So I have a ton of old entries. Nowadays I just tag new entries and leave the old ones be.

Huh. Scratch that, I remember going through my old entries and finding old blackout stuff, but I never actually bothered to tag them! *smacks forehead*
I'm gonna have to correct that!
