I miss Matt's articles. You should have heard him at graduation this year...I was quite pleased!

Hooray for the Luce!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Now I need one of those big companies that I've applied at to hire me so I can come home for the big day....but if I'm unemployed I don't have to worry ab time off and I can hitch hike home.

I leave in less than a mo. We all need to go out together.

Funny thing, we walked through the English dept and saw a pic of Matt at Graduation and a pic of Kaffer, Hafner, and Sauer laughing. I'm sorry I missed it.

And I'm calling Matt out cause I know he watches this journal. :P

Last time I was in New Orleans, two different, unconnected people on Bourbon Street told me to "smile." I think it might be some sort of a conspiracy, but in this case it wasn't really my fault anyway: I didn't know all the people I was with (some were friends of a friend) and at least one of them was seriously harshing the vibe or whatever. I've always operated under the assumption that smiles, like anything else, lose their value as they flood the market. Just as I don't trust the movie recommendations of people who "pretty much like everything", I don't put much stock in the ability of people who are always always smiling about nothing in particular to serve as a barometer for the general mood of the area. But, that said, you are also correct and I have attempted to lighten up a little over the last year or two. So good times.

Also, I'm glad you liked the article. Which one was it?

It was the article about Senioritis and how if you went up to a table of Senior's and said "Graduation", three of them would bleed from the ears and nose, two would run off screaming, and one would kill you on the spot. I'm sure you'll remember which one. But seriously that pic they had of you was a mug shot.

And I'm not sure if you knew this but there's a pic of Hafner, Kaffer, and Sauer laughing next to a pic of you giving your speech. If you have a copy of that I'd like you read it, your commencement address that is.
