Well all tragedy aside I have to say I personally had a good day. Even though I'm ass tired right now, I can still say it was a productive day. Mims and I got up at 8am and got ready, at 9 we we're out the door and on our way to Mobile. Two and a half hours later we got to her moms and then had some yummy Krystal for lunch. We then went to Spring Hill to meet with the head honcho there Father Lucey. I swear when I walked into the President's new office the first words out of my mouth was "posh". So we waited for the Luce to get back from Lunch and saw an article in the Springhillian by Matt Blythe. Matt seriously you need to smile and not look like someone ran over your damn cat. Good article, this English Major felt your pain today.
Anyway shortly after we arrived Fr. Lucey came out to greet us. He invited us into a comfortable room that had a great view of the new Library. We sat there and talked for a good thirty minutes, and let me tell you that meeting could have not gone any better than it did. I was amazed about how laid back Fr. Lucey was about the whole thing. Fr. Hugely wanted us to jump through all these hoops before we got married and I feel like Fr. Lucey is more accommodating to us. Regardless of the long conversation Mims and I had comparing the two the fact is that we have him marrying us.
The rest of the day was visiting family and doing a few other little things. And we actually left Mobile at a decent hour. Sorta why I can take time to think and write this out. I know this isn't a long post but trust me it's taken awhile since I've been doing other stuff in the process. Yeah there's a bunch of little things that are coming along, so let me just say that it's all coming along just fine. Now that we have Fr. Lucey we can breath easy and move on. We still have a lot of work to do, but it'll get done, trust me.
