i guess it's summer now...

these past few days have been horribly hot. i love june gloom, but apparently that's sooo last year. a couple weeks ago i went to the beach with sarah, travis, and baby sophia. i decided to take off my rings and necklace in order to put sun screen on (and yes, i'm talking about the matching, engraved ring necklace from mine and pete's one year).

i remember when i was 10 my mom gave me a ring that was her grandmother's and i lost it in the walmart bathroom. i went back hours later and actually found it, but even then i still felt like shit about it.
