i guess it's summer now...
these past few days have been horribly hot. i love june gloom, but apparently that's sooo last year. a couple weeks ago i went to the beach with sarah, travis, and baby sophia. i decided to take off my rings and necklace in order to put sun screen on (and yes, i'm talking about the matching, engraved ring necklace from mine and pete's one year). even though i thought i put them safely in my bag i must have dropped them in the sand and now they're gone forever. this was very devastating for me. pete of course has not taken his off since the day we got them and i feel like a big jerk for losing mine. sophia turns one a week from wednesday. this past year has literally flown by and she will be walking any day now. my cousins from arizona are here. so far we've already gone to see Over the Hedge and i've taken them shopping two days in a row. i should be doing one last assignment right now. my two finals are tomorrow and that will offically be the start to my summer vacation. last night i got to play marco polo and colors in a pool filled with some of my favorite people. i'm pretty happy.
