Two more days before we will get the key on Sept 19. I am excited and nervous at the same time!

We will move in right away. We also took the next week off to have the home setup. It is exciting to setup your new home, but can also be stressful. Let's see how will things go.

My wonderful manager told us that she is planning to retire early within the next five years. She is a great manager and mentor, I need to try to learn and grow as much as I can when she is still around.

After tomorrow, I would have finished my 2nd week in the new role (while half of my time has been spend on training a new associate in the old team), I am already trying to caught up on my assignments in my new role. The IM team (my old team) just hired a new associated. Due to the team having limited resources, I'll help with the training this week. I will be with the new gal half a day from Monday to Friday. On Sat, RG, some friends and myself went to the Carnivalissima - Part of the Luminato Festival (a festival of art, music and dance). It's a amazing day with nice sunshine and breeze. It's nice to be outdoor by the lake, enjoy performances like dances (e.g. afro, jazz, korean, lindy) and music (e.g. brazil drum band, jamecian drum and band etc). ( Read more... )
