You know, Maya, I do share your hatred for Geki, but only semi because I LOVED the villains... but hated the heroes and the writers... god, that story moved so slowly....
And I KNEW I was not the only one who sees the Otoya/Yuri! YES! *whoops*
I really wanted to love Geki, too. I was so excited when the first scans showed up. And considering how I own 4 vinyls, it's obvious that I love the suits. The cast was just awful (red who did nothing but scream nonsense, personality-less blue and yellow, a violet who has no real reason to be independent and cold, an obnoxiously happy white), not to mention the furries (whose voices made my ears bleed)... I did love Rio and Mele in the beginning, but that wavered and dropped mid-series until the end. The best thing the writers did for that show was hook Rio and Mele up and then kill them off. There really couldn't have been a better ending for them.
Who DOESN'T see Otoya/Yuri? They're so perfect for eachother. :O
