I finally got around to watching the subbed Den-O movie. I kinda wanted to cry, I guess I've been suppressing how much I miss Den-O.
Likewise, seeing screencaps for Geki VS Bouken makes me so nostalgic for Boukenger. I try to hide my hatred for Geki because everyone and their mom seems to love it, but this VS is just pissing me off. Sentai versuses tend to focus on the current/latest sentai and I really don't want to see the Boukengers be beat by the Gekirangers, that'd just be shameful. :(
Go-onger is fun and full of The Gay so far, so I'm pretty pleased. Now all we need is some semblance of an over-arching plot and we're set. Need to go watch ep 4 subbed actually. I've fallen behind on raws thanks to Brawl.
Still not very impressed by Kiva in terms of plot and characters, but at least it's making me laugh fairly frequently. Episode 6 was pretty good, actually, in terms of how the characters were woven together. Otoya told Yuri about the music inside everyone, and Megumi recited that to Wataru, meaning that made enough of an impression on Yuri to tell her daughter. Shockingly, Wataru hadn't heard of that, which leads me to believe he spent almost no time at all with his father. What gives? I hope they delve deeper into their relationship.
Pretty convinced Megumi is Wataru's half-sister now, actually. (Half because, according to sources and minor, indirect mentions in the show say Wataru's mother is a Fangire.) That one music in everyone comment showed that despite all his flirting, Otoya really loves Yuri, and we all know where that leads. And her reaction seems like the beginning of her starting to notice him and taking his advances seriously. Kamen Rider has pulled off weirder familial relations anyway. (See: Den-O WTF)
