The inhabitants of the Temple were all assembled in the Dining Hall. It was a large room with high ceilings, warmed by the fire in the fireplace opposite the main entrance and several smaller braziers scattered between the tables. The three large tables, normally set side by side, had been pushed against the walls to clear a space at the center of

And then Loe fired his rifle, and Raina threw a chair, which meant that naturally Fillin needed to do something, too. Sadly, he had neither rifle, nor chair, so he instead opted to play to his strengths and use whatever else he had.
He lifted a tray and...offered it to the Called around him. "Hors d'oeuvres?"
[OOC: All comers may interact with Fillin! Have at him!]

And the world goes red and hot. Something hits him from behind like a sledgehammer, and he's thrown forward in a roll and a rush of smoke. He doesn't stop rolling until the ground beneath him... changes. He feels smooth tile on exposed skin, instead of rough, damp asphalt. Slowly, Gavin uncurls, his breath harsh, rough in his throat.
Where...?
He can only gape at the proffered tray, at the man holding it, while his lungs cough and hack, trying to get the smoke out of them. "... What...? What the..."

"They're sandwiches. Made with cucumber. Do try one." He appeared unfazed by Gavin's appearance, as though a man suddenly rolling into existence was nothing new. "You sound like you could use a drink."
A quick gesture later and the same servant girl who had screamed earlier trotted to Fillin's side, a goblet of water in her hands. Fillin took it and waved her away, offering the goblet to Gavin.

"What...?"
The words didn't seem to process. Or even really register. He moved mechanically to take the water, trying to lever himself up off the ground in the process.

Oops, looks like Eir Called this one while he was in the middle of something.

"I... no," he rasped out. "No. Leigh -- Where is he? I--he's Chinese. Tall. I need to find him..."

He had to focus on the water. Drink it. And then figure things out. And then find Leigh. He had to. The other man had to be here... somewhere.

Has she crashed a party, or a fight?
A shot rings out. A monster is bleeding. Without thought, Aqua calls her blade.
It doesn't appear.
She tries again; nothing.
And then someone offers her hors d'oeuvres.
"No, thankyou," where is her keyblade? What world is this? Has he seen Terra or Ven; all are questions that, at this moment, Aqua cannot ask him. Over his shoulder, she's spied a ten foot metal monstrosity and the first question that comes to mind tumbles out of her mouth, "What is this place?"

She doesn't dare ask. People are still shouting and facing off around the room and Aqua teeters for a moment unable to decide what to do.
"Shouldn't we help them?" Of course she should. But without her keyblade... She looks back at Fillin "I had a sword with me - it looked sort of like a key - but I can't summon it here."
It's only then that the full impact of what is going on strikes her: If she cannot summer her keyblade, she cannot summon her glider; if she cannot summon her glider, then she cannot leave.
"Why can't I summon it here?"

He shakes his head calmly. "They're alright, no need to worry. As for your sword, I'm afraid it appears to be missing!" The logical answer, dear girl. "But don't worry about that, either. We'll find you a new one."

Helpful, isn't he?

In any case, if he doesn't know what a keyblade is, he's not going to be able to tell her if he's seen one. She'll just have to find it herself. She can look for Terra again while she's at it.
"Okay. One more thing? Could you tell me the way to the exit?"
