What I love about fanfic!!!
Since my comment over at House_Cameron was...ehem... poignantly ignored I will express what I LOVE about fanfics!!!
1) Snarky House
2) Strong Cam
3) Snarky Wilson
4) Smut!!
5) Fics that have actual medical aspects (cause lets face it if we're going to be acting all crazy like every fic should be in character then there is no way any of the doctors ( Read more... )

Anyway, things I like to see in fic.
1)smut
2)Strong Dominant Cameron
3)Snarky House
4)SMUT
5)House/Wilson banter
6)House/Cuddy banter.
7)Multi chapter fics
8)Did I mention smut?
9)Sexual tension that builds and builts until glorious smut ensues
10)Chase bashing (sorry to all those who like Chase but he just begs to be picked on.)
11)Medical drama(hard to write but worth it if you can)
12)Characters where even if you changed their names you would still know who they were.
13)I actually like the prego fics but they kinda have been done to death.
14)House playing the piano(he doesn't do it nearly enough in canon)
15)and last but definately not least SMUTSorry T, didn't mean to copy you so much but I guess we just like a lot of the same things ( ... )

See, isn't it much nicer for us to say things we like about fic instead of what we hate???? We do like many of the same things!! I think most people do!!!
All this talk about in character and not in character...How in holy hell can you write smut that is in character!!! I would hate to see smut galore come to an end.
I guess I just think the witch hunt needs to end!!!

I'm glad you said that because I agree 100%. I was actually working on a smut fic earlier today (I know I should be working on JWtDO but this idea hit me at 2am this morning and begged to be written) but when I read that other thread I was like "this really is OOC" so I stopped. I think now I'll continue and if people don't like it well screw them.

I think I understand what ibilic was trying to do when she started that thread, I think she just wanted to write a story that everyone would like but then everyone went off on a tangent and started indirectly bashing everyones fic. Imean if you think about it all the fics that are currently ongoing right now were all bashed by someone or other ( ... )
