lol I really didn't intend for V to be the bad guy here. She has a valid argument, and a justified reason for being upset. The fact that Logan wouldn't own up to his wrong-doing (or even acknowledging how dangerous/stupid/wrong all the things he did was) just made her angrier.

Sooner or later, it was all going to blow up in Logan's face. It just happened to be sooner rather than later. ;)

I didn't see V as the bad guy at all nor as a buzz kill on either the show or this fic. Logan is doing something incredibly stupid just like he continually does on the show and I completely understand her fear, anger and pain. I was applauding her just as I did when she broke with him this season. Logan needs to get it together.

I agree with ya. I like how everyone's divided over who was right and who was wrong here, but, really, if V didn't get angry and say something, she wouldn't be our Veronica.

She would be Duncan's Veronica.

I loved this! I loved the angst and the fighting, even if it was heartbreaking. Why does V have to be such a bitch? And could Logan just stop lying and doing bad things?

Like I said in my above post, I never intended for V to be the total bad guy. Like the rest of the story, everyone is shady and everyone is good in their own way- if Logan hadn't lied, then V wouldn't have gotten pissed. If V had just ignored it, she would've been right back in the same position she was in with Duncan (and on the show).

V isn't blind or stupid, and angsty good times ensue. :)

I'm definitely on Veronica's side for this one. Logan shouldn't have lied to her and he shouldn't be risking even MORE possible jail time in the attempt to clear his name...doesn't that defeat the whole point?

Anyway, this is still as crazygood and intense as ever, so thanks for the long update :)

I always think of Logan doing (very) bad things with good intentions, and this falls into that category. Really, what makes him think just because he keeps V out of his drama that it won't come back to smack him? That the PCHers wouldn't go after her, or that the cops wouldn't arrest her too?

Logan may be smarter than you and I, but he's still also someone who lacks the art of planning ahead. ;)

I love how you show how resigned Logan is to his fate. He's still fighting to save himself but Veronia's right about how he goes off half-cocked because he's so desperate to stop what he thinks is inevitable.

Man, the two of them are trying so hard and it still just doesn't work. Sigh. I love them. *g*
