So sorry to hear this. I really hope that the 26 years meant a good redundancy package. In fact my length of service (22 years) has saved me from redundancy, they got rid of those they could, but blatantly told me they couldn't afford the amount I'm entitled to for the length of service.

You write much better fan fiction than Jane Espensen. It's more IC and consistent!

I really hope there is a job out there for you.

Thanks, love - yes, I did get a package and all those years of service will make the next year a little easier *g*. (How scary is it that you were told that they couldn't afford to lay you off!)
