If I can be said to have a ship, it's for Veronica and Wallace. Sure, I like LoVe, but only because I like seeing all characters miserable. I think that Veronica and Wallace would be good for each other (assuming Veronica gets over herself) - and that Wallace is far too good for every random black girl he's been set up with.

I think it's fair to think that Jackie might interpret Veronica and Wallace as having those sort of feelings for each other.

However, alas, the way the show is written, I doubt they actually *do*. More's the pity.

I agree with you, I don't think V is jealous in more than a friend way. I myself have been jealous and pissed off when my best friend has started going out with someone else and they suddenly seem to disappear off the face of the planet and I'm like, "Didn't I used to have a friend here?"

I think it's a perfectly natural feeling, especially for Veronica who would closely guard Wallace after losing Lilly. I know *I* would which is why I seriously feel for Veronica after the end of the last episode.

Although Veronica may appear selfish for not seeming to be there for Wallace, but after everything she has been through, she had to become shut off to cope and we know that before Lilly died she was a really nice, sweet person, so it is a new thing.

I just think people should cut her some slack, dammit.

First losing Lilly then her mother bailing as well as her so-called friends at Neptune. I didn't think about VM guarding Wallace in such a way since losing Lilly. That makes sense - good point!

Thank you!

It is also why I think Veronica has issues she need to work through, which is slightly different to "getting over herself." She barely trusts people with her own problems, which she needs to do more, before she starts taking on other people's problems.

I understood where Wallace was coming from, he was stressed and upset and he is still a teenage boy, but I think if he had thought about it, he wouldn't have been so harsh on her.

Perhaps however, it may be the push Veronica needs to learn how to deal and be a better friend, but I don't know if it will quite yet.

Sorry, that kind of went off topic. *G*

V has experienced some emotionally draining hurdles, which is obvious when in within a social setting. However, Wallace is such a great friend. In the first season you could tell she was trying, for example, when V showed Wallace the laptop (right after she found out she might be related to Duncan), but we haven't seen much growth this season. Of course, we're only 5 episodes in! lol.

I'm surprised no one has complained about LJ cutting this, yet.

To further avoid future surprises, it is now a cut :)

I, personally, don't think she likes him like that. And I do think the idea of Wallace/Veronica is cute, I just never took her jealousy as "more than friends." Her first impression of Jackie was not good, and she obviously does not like Jackie at all - therefore it's not only jealousy that her first real friend since Lilly died is being preoccupied with somebody else, but she doesn't even think that person deserves to be with Wallace.

Last season, when Wallace started basketball and everybody was starting to like him - she was jealous then, too. I see it as that same kind of jealousy this year. Especially considering last year she didn't care when he had a huge crush/kissed/went to Hoemcoming with that girl. (I so do not remember her name. She was only in one episode anyway.)

It would be interesting to see that point brought up on-screen, though.

Yeah, she smiled when Georgia and Wallace kissed, there was no jealousy there.

I also agree with you that I think the main reason is that she simply doesn't like Jackie.

I think she was just trying to make Veronica look bad in front of Duncan
