you need to lj-cut the first sentence that you left out of the cut, as well.

I didn't even consider Jackie was talking about Wallace. Jackie's standing between Duncan and Logan when she says it, and she was just kissing Logan (or something like that), she was only telling Veronica to choose just one, Duncan or Logan. Which of course didn't have anything to do with what Veronica was screaming her for, but still, I don't think Jackie was refering to choose between Duncan or Wallace. Nope.

And about your question itself, I don't see Wallace and Veronica as more than friends in any kind of way, I don't think it's going to happen and I don't want it to happen. Despite what all tv-shows tend to show, there are friendships that remain so, just a friendship between a male and a female, and Veronica and Wallace have always been that.

PS, sorry, just wanted to add that it's true Veronica has shown some strange-jealousy feelings towards Jackie, but I don't think it has to do with romantic-jealousy in any kind of way. She just thinks Jackie isn't good enough for Wallace. He deserves more than that.

I think Jackie was implying that Wallace might have feelings for V that go beyond friendship and that V likes it that way deep down, even if she doesn't feel the same way about him. And I think she might not be too far wrong.

V/W? Oh, please, no.... asaresquares October 29 2005, 20:20:07 UTC
Sorry, I really can't warm to the idea of V/W. Mainly because I'm elated to see a show where a boy and a girl can be friends WITHOUT it turning into something more. Also...they're BFFs. Not crushes. And I think it's pretty clear that V doesn't like Wallace that way. Why's she jelous? Because Wallace is her friend, and suddenly he's hanging tag with Jackie, whom she doesn't like, and is maybe even a little envious of her ["And so it's gone all night - how Jackie met Colin Firth. How Jakcie..."] . Although there is a 20% chance that Wallace could possibly like V, I highly doubt it. He just doesn't seem to.

As for Jackie's "Pick one" comment, I assumed she was referring to Duncan and Logan. Although, on that note, how the hell did Jackie learn so much about V's life? She knew about Lilly, Logan, Duncan, and their connections to V...honestly, has the girl been hacking into V's brain?!

I assumed that Jackie found everything out from Wallace. But yeah I def. agree with everything you said. I don't understand why on TV shows guys and girls can't just stay friends. Wallace and Veronica should definately remian friends.

LOL I agree! I'll definitely get angry at Rob Thomas if V starts dating Wallace. I love the fact they are such great friends, especially since they're the opposite sex.

I guess I misunderstood, but I though Jackie meant Duncan and Wallace... I don't know..

She was talking about Logan & Duncan because Jackie was depressed about getting dumped by Wallace & was mad that Veronica interfered with her flirting with Logan. I don't think a romantic relationship will develop between the two (V & W) though. They're best friends & she's already swamped with boy troubles with Duncan & Logan. She needs one stable boy in her life. Jackie feels threatened though because Veronica is such an important girl in Wallace's life.. Jackie wants to the be important girl.
