Why I loved this show in the first place

I just posted at TWOP and was thinking about all the things I love about the show and all the things I dread. Then my brain wandered over to Season 1 and I wondered what elements in Season 1 made me the crazy obcessed fan I was until VD sapped all my energy in Season 2

Who's giving up?

I'm not giving up on the show. I was just remembering it's past excellence. I've enjoyed lots of parts of this season and last. But then there are the things that pull me right out of the story 'cause they just don't make sense to me. Sometimes it's plot stuff but a lot of it is character stuff. But I'm still watching.

Good points, I agree with a lot of what you've said. But I've been enjoying this season because I've been avoiding spoilers and "just going with it". :D Season one is still my favourite so far, but we've had some kickass things this season (Veronica solving the murder mystery so fast in the first ep etc) so I'm hopeful that they'll start implementing some of the stuff that we all loved about season one soon this season. :D

I was really spoiled last season so I tried to stay away from it this year--I was a bit spoiled, I knew about the rape storyline and that Logan and Veronica would start the season together. Then I heard about the Madison thing somewhere, and it's everwhere that Piz is a love interest for Veronica, but I think that's all I know. I have enjoyed the shows this season, but there are just things that play as wrong to me. Kills my enjoyment. I'm still watching and supporting the show....just hoping for a bit of a turn towards some of the things that really made season 1 work.
