Why I loved this show in the first place
I just posted at TWOP and was thinking about all the things I love about the show and all the things I dread. Then my brain wandered over to Season 1 and I wondered what elements in Season 1 made me the crazy obcessed fan I was until VD sapped all my energy in Season 2.
So I thought I'd try to ferret out the elements that hooked me and the moments I was blown away by and open it up to anyone else who is also wondering what is going on.
I didn't start watching until Season 1 was reairing in order over the summer and I started watching seriously around An Echolls Family Christmas. Then when I saw the previews later of Veronica and Logan kissing I was like, WHAT! Then it clicked in my brain--really didn't see that one coming for some reason--and I ran to ethe computer and downloaded every episode I could find. I've watched faithfully ever since even if I cringe through the episodes.
So my list (follow the link for more detailed reasoning, or rambling):
*Veronica--She was prickly, and defensive, and sarcastic and vulnerable and lonely and lost and sad and angry.
*The old Logan and Veronica interaction.
*Which leads to….the bond between Keith and Veronica.
*The season 1 mysteries. Big or small.
*The tongue in cheek thing.
*The I-didn’t-see-that-coming-but that-totally-makes-sense-now-thing.
*Veronica’s other love interests.
