Here is my little review for the latest episode. I hope I did the tags right. It does contain spoilers and speculation

Green Eggs and Ham: A review of Episode 3.09, Spit and Eggs.

First off, I rarely enjoy the preview more than the actual episode, and lately, that's been the case. They went too fast, relied on some random song too much, and ( Read more... )

episode: 309 spit & eggs, spoilers: season 3, speculation: season 3

Wasn't the rapist supposed to return the hair, a la Maebe in "Rapes of Graff"?

Wasn't that just the one guy's hair, who had lost the ... bet/contest thing. He had to shave his head, and that was his hair, was it not?

It might have been...I haven't seen the episode in a while, but now that you mention it, I guess you're right....sigh.

Yeah, I'm fairly sure it was. And about your above review, I agree with you on some things but disagree on a lot.

Strong agrees: MAC IS AMAZING. And where's the Dick development? Here's to hoping for more than that one smidgen...

Yup, it was. It wasn't Maebe's hair, and had nothing to do with her rape. It was the Psi Sig guy, she wouldn't sleep with him so the frat made him shave his head.

as the others pointed out, it was one of the frat boys' hair that was sent to maebe. she looks in the box and says, "this isn't my hair."

as far as who veronica planned on offing, i say it was sheriff lamb. if you notice when landry is listing who people in the class offed, he mentions the local sheriff, and the camera turns to veronica and she has a suspicious look on her face. maybe not, but that's what i got from that part, and i think it's great.

How is it that Parker, in another area, can hear the whistle, but none of those guys could hear?

Girls can hear higher tones than guys. The whistle was kind of high pitched, so it was probably out of the guys' hearing range.

The other thing about the whistle is that Parker was kind of listening for one because of the fact she was giving them out and there was a big party going on. The guys probably heard it but didn't react because they didn't know what it was and just thought of a random whistle. I can't tell you how many times we heard weird sounds coming from the other dorm rooms around us.

but, a guy did hear it...i think it was after parker screamed rape...one of the guys that came out said something like "did anyone else hear that whistle?" he just didnt know what it meant.

Every gender disparity in biology has exceptions. Just like there are men who have voices higher than a tenor, there are men who can hear more high-pitched sounds, more in a woman's range.

I'm sorry, but I knew tons of people who already knew it was Beaver long before the finale. It wasn't a surprise at all. However, I thought that Mercer was a big surprise, and so was Moe.

Part of the surprise was that Mercer had been "cleared" so most people thought he was a red herring.

Never seen Pulp Fiction, but I did like Mercer in the bedroom scene, too.

I was stunned at the Beaver revelation (though I did already guess he'd been molested by Woody - that seemed pretty obvious to me) - but I was completely unstunned at the Aaron-reveal.

To me, of *course* Lilly had been sleeping with him - we saw him get creepy towards Veronica, and that seems the sort of thing Lilly would do, anyway. And of *course* he killed her - that definitely seemed like what he would do when she threatened to reveal him, which of *course* he'd do.

The rape thing, now, did surprise me - Mo didn't seem obvious at all, and the other one seemed too obviously slimy and creepy. It's supposed to always be the one you least suspect, and therefore the one I really least suspected was the obvious one!

I didn't see enough of the first season to suspect Aaron, so it was a big surprise to me. Luckily, I at least saw the episode before so I knew who he was.

I read a lot of people's speculation from season 2 where they guessed it was beaver so that's why I wasn't surprised. I don't know if I would have guessed it on my own or not.

Agree on the Mac Love! Any episode with her in it, it automatically a good one, IMO. Oh Mac and your 'porn-star' tub top, how I missed you.

I don't like the way Dick is back to his jack ass self. I really thought they would do some good character development, but he seems to just taking up space. Sorry Dick fans. Maybe I'll feel differently when he's not used just for comic relief.
