so why did Veronica fall unconscious minutes after she took a sip?
That's just it, she didn't fall unconscious, she just can't remember that time span. From what we were told, she wasn't unconscious when they fed her the shots. As for the Madison-comparison, yeah appart from the fact that people's organisms react differently, reaction is also based on dosage per kilo or pound of body weight.
To your legal questions, I can't answer those, as I could answer them only my country and that is not the US.
They fed her shots after the salt lick which happened after she passed out on the lounge chair. In the Pilot we find out that she remembers falling onto the louge chair meaning the drugs made her pass out.I wasn't refering to her being unconscious when Dick brough her into the guest room just that when the drugs first kicked it she barely made it to the lounge chair before passing out while Carmen was wide awake.
But she wasn't passed out - in the flashbacks (which are all we have to go by) they show her barely awake, moving around and stuff, but she IS awake. She just doesn't remember it.
Also, we don't know how much Tad gave Carmen, and Carmen is noticably of a different weight and height than Veronica. The effects would be very different.
I would think it's a combination of the GHB and the alcohol plus the fact that Veronica is tiny. Most drugs have more of an effect the smaller you are.
As for your other questions, Mercer was the one with the arson. Logan was asleep or semi-asleep. Only Logan, Mercer, and those girls know that Mercer started the fire, from what I understand. I don't know about in Tijuana, but in the US, I think Logan would probably be accused of being an accessory to the arson because he helped to cover it up.
I was referring to burning down the community pool in the summer after season 1 when I said he committed arson. It never crossed my mind that he could be charged with anything in regards to the fire in TJ.
well yes, arson is a crime and knowing what we know about the 09ers, logan and the others easily got away with it. still, i think he expected veronica on his side regardless of what he was doing... but notice he didnt tell the the truth about what the gasoline was for when she asked?
I do think when he committed arson back in the Summer after season 1 those were very extenuating circumstances anyway. I mean he was being targeted for a crime he didn't committ by the local gang, the local Sherrif was an incompetent dumbass who wouldn't lift a finger to protect him so he felt like he had to take care of the problem himself. To be fair burning down grass into a football field to spell out something is as much arson as burning down a community pool so he only half-lied about that.I'm in no way attacking his character. There isn't a single regular on that show who hasn't done something criminal.Veronica herself set the evidence room on fire and stole evidence regarding a robbery with help. She's stolen confidential files, bugged rooms, broken into homes, helped with the kidnapping of a child, destroyed property and the list goes on.I just thought it was an unusual choice of words because just about every character on the show has broken the law one way or another.

People react to drugs differently. Maybe Veronica's body was just more sensitive to the drug than the other girl's was.
