Yeah, they were both being kind of sucky. But, they made up and admitted it, so YAY!

Sounds like you are really trying to rationalize things to turn Logan into the good guy. I don't think either of them were that bad. But Omission is still betrayal.

I never said Logan was "good". I just said I didn't like how everyone was calling him "bad" and not calling Veronica on her (IMHO) worse behaviour. Honestly, I watched the episode thinking, gee, Veronica's really being hard on Logan when he's hardly done anything to deserve it, and it was weird seeing everyone else talking about how scummy he was acting, because I hadn't seen it (as being so horrible).

I don't think we can just turn the whole situation around like that. Although Veronica was being distrustful, Logan gave her absolutely no reason to give him the benefit of the doubt. Logan's behavior was unacceptable, not "typical guy behavior." Veronica was also being unacceptably possessive. Tracking device? Not really a good idea ever. But you can't excuse Logan's behavior by saying it's "typical guy behavior." He said he would stop by and didn't, instead calling her from a loud party. He didn't correct the girls when they called Veronica his "friend."

While, yes, Veronica went overboard, I don't think she is entirely in the wrong. (Besides, I read Veronica's concerns about his class attendance as a concerned girlfriend not wanting him to flunk out of college, not distrust about his whereabouts.)

Oh, I'm not saying that Logan did nothing wrong. I just think what Veronica did was worse. As I said above, I don't think the girls were calling Veronica his "friend", I think they were talking about Dick (who is his friend). And one time not showing up when he said he'd probably stop by her work isn't that huge an offense, especially since he called her (not from a party, from the gambling place) to let her know he wouldn't. A lot of guys, if they got caught up in something else, wouldn't even remember to call.

I think the one thing that bothered me about Logan was when Veronica said something to the effect "You have time to do what you want to do, but anytime it's something I want to do you are busy."

Relationships are about compromise- that means you will both probably do and go to a few things that wouldn't be on your top 10 list, but you go anyway because you love the person you are dating/married to/whatever.

That statement gave the implication that this isn't the first time Logan has had no problems making plans to go to a party, but couldn't be bothered to do something V really wanted to do.

I agree she went jealous girlfriend overboard, and I'm glad she got her head out before it was too late.

Okay, but then, like, three days later he did compromise. Maybe she hadn't expressed that concern to him before. For a 19-year-old guy to listen to his girlfriend's complaints and do something about them that quickly, even though she's been acting a bit psycho--I'd say that's pretty cool.

I agree that Logan also had fault in being inflexible but he pretty much acknowledged that at the end with his compromise to go to a film festival, so it was clear that his conscience wasn't guilt free and he knew he had stuff to make up to Veronica too.

I thought the mutual acknolwdgement at the end of their "wrongdoings" and the forgiveness from both sides was a beautiful, healthy step in their relationship.
