Sweaty pumpkin hunting

The fall festival is one of my favorite fall traditions, and it was just plain gross yesterday. It was 90' F 92' F yesterday (33' C for you Euro and Canadian friends), and completely unsuitable for pumpkin hunting, cider drinking, and caramel corn eating. Ben is looking like so much more of a little boy and less of a baby these days. Great pics! Even as a southern, I agree! 90 weather a pumpkin picking don't mix!

next weekend we're suppose to do the Reniassance faire, which demands chilly temps so that you can warm up around a turkey leg. I dont think we're getting 'em...

It's flamin' hot here in PA, too! I refuse to hit the fall festivals until the climate drops at least 20 degrees! And that better be next week! :P

Isn't it gross? I need to correct my post to state that it wsa 92 yesterday, not 90. Barf.

We have another fall tradition next weekend: The Reniassance Faire, and that better be chilly, dammit, 'cause I'm NOT sweating on my turkey leg!!

I was dying at the Topsfield Fair on Friday in 80 degree temps. I should have been eating apple crisp and drinking hot cider, dammit, not sweating it out!

Pigs rule. We saw racing and swimming ones at the fair ;)
