Had a meeting today right next to the Air Force Memorial and couldnt resist taking some photos....

I'm not a big fan of this memorial...I 'get it' - its symbolic of the Bomb Burst flying maneuver, but I think its showy and overpowers every other thing in the DC region. They've tried to humanize it by putting some bad bronze honor guard statues ( Read more... )

The fall festival is one of my favorite fall traditions, and it was just plain gross yesterday. It was 90' F 92' F yesterday (33' C for you Euro and Canadian friends), and completely unsuitable for pumpkin hunting, cider drinking, and caramel corn eating. I know that some of you have posted in the past couple of months about photo albums via the web. I'm annoyed with the kodak ones, and the ones on Iphoto are too $$ and neither are flexible enough for me...
