Title taken from Keep Me a Secret, by Ainslie Henderson, and it started off as a tiny ficlet using the prompt "I'm trying not to feel you, but, you just brushed by..."

( But it’s hard. Pretending to be normal, not letting his feelings show. Randy copes by making sure that outside of filming, he and Gale don't touch. They talk, they laughed, they joke, but they never hug, or brush hands, or sit too close. Randy makes sure of it... )

You are right, it is sort of a guilty pleasure... to read and I'm sure to write too although so far I haven't tried out writing RPS. That's part of the allure. But when I read such brilliantly written RPS fics like yours or those of mrstotten all my wariness of RPS is easily shucked overboard ;))) *hugs*

I love this fandom. There is no crap and everyone is sooo nice. *hugs* Why wasn't I hear years ago?! Would have saved me the crap from the Supernatural fandom!

You should try RPS, although be warned, it is a drug!

The big problem is: your RPS are always so good - it's impossible not to read and enjoy them.
It doesn't matter how you are telling the story, who is struggeling and why...every time you are making each story so believable, so "this way it could have been...".
Here comes one FURIOUS Gale Harold and I can easily picture him this way in such an extreme situation. And a well knowing Peter, finally taking matters into hands...perfect!
