This puts a crimp in things...

Get back from Third Place. Door unlocked (unchained really, I'll possibly explain in the review of Saturday.) Nobody downstairs. Head up to clear pockets. Hear voice from parents' room. Turns out Dad has been super-tired all day- legs feeling like they're made of rubber bands, blood sugar at 400+ (he's been Type 1 diabetic since before I was born), blood pressure low even for him (normal is low enough that he'll listen to right-wing radio on occasion, just to get up to near-normal). Mom called hospital, Urgent Care (sounds nicer than Emergency Room, doesn't it?) recommended. At least it's enough lead time that (in all likelihood) it won't ace him out of the planned Spain trip.

We hope.

UPDATE 23:55 It's his heart. Not much known, transferred to Virginia Mason.
