By Way of Explanation: What's with the Name?
The original plan was to be "verbivore" but that was taken (by who may I ask?), so I took the Greek instead of the Latin.
Still doesn't explain it though...
A few years ago I signed up for ISC.ro (if you don't know what that is, and you do know me, that's an unlikely turn of events) and needed a name. For some reason the phrase "eating one's words" came to mind and I got to thinking: What what a creature be that ate words? The obvious term was "verbivore" so that's what I took. Even after I lost access to ISC after not signing on for half a year, I got the name back when they started accepting Macintoshes to connect again. (Although now there's a verbivore2. And he plays SOWPODS. C'mon, a little originality here please.)
I'm not sure what this critter is supposed to look like... I'm imagining either a werewolf-like thing or some sort of alien.
