I was not raised to be religious. Or as I've put it before: I was raised by scientists.
Some may say this is depressive since that means there's nothing Beyond to hope for (or fear).
But in another way it's weirdly empowering: If "paradise" is to exist, it must be made HERE.
For EVERYONE.
While we can still know we're enjoying it.
The way I see it is this:
Life is the main stage, the only real stage, and there's no after-party, no sequels. This... is what counts.
