Scott Caan rocks my world, I swear. When he brings it, he really brings it. I love that we got such a subdued Danny for the last two eps, that his mind was on Steve, and now we get full force Danny and it's spectacular.

I'm so glad they didn't kill Adam. I think he can be a really fascinating character and add a lot to the show. I do hope we see him again.

And Steve! AOL looked fantastic. Loved his scenes with Wo Fat, loved him with the big guns, loved him flying a 'copter and a plane. But most of all I loved the phone calls with Danny. And the hugs. All the hugs.

He brings it so much! He really thinks about what he does and makes it work, no matter what the script or the lines he gets.

Adam is one of my faves, so I really hope he comes back, and the thing with Kono would just complicate matters beautifully.

AOL, yeah, so happy to see him healthy and lively again! I loved everything Steve/Danny, seriously. It was perfect.

*flails with you*

Oh yes, it was wonderful, wasn't it? Especially seeing Steve again and how badass Danny was. I didn't mind Kono and Adam, despite not having any "build up" of their relationship. He's such an interesting character and he's hot, too.

I liked what you said about Danny being the last to forgive Steve. I was looking at his expression in their hug at the end -- he didn't look as happy as I'd've liked/expected him to. I think probably he isn't completely over being mad at Steve at that moment. Although I do feel that over the time Steve's been gone, Danny's had time to temper his anger toward him, I do think when he can get Steve alone, he'll read him the riot act as only Danny can.

I adore Adam, so anything with him is good! And yeah, seeing Steve again made me so happy.

It's very Danny, I think, to be like that. He worried the most, and he hasn't forgiven Steve for that worry. Steve knows, and he'll take the yelling and the grudges until he'll say, "enough," and then they're done :).

The storyline was rushed, yes, but I don't mind it that much. A lot of storylines were rushed, and I can be sympathetic to circumstance.

Oh yeah, what am I thinking? Tension arc!

SO GAY. Seriously, Danny, go fool someone else.

Glad you loved it, babe! Stevie! I missed him terribly; it's so great to see him. *snuggles him*

This episode was freaking brilliant, but let me get this off my chest. I would love the Adam/Kono thing if there had been a single bit of built up or hint. Because it was cool and hot and they acted the hell out of that and it felt more like a distraction than anything. But given that. I really looking forward to where that goes in future seasons ( ... )

in my comment below yours I wondered if the build up to Adam/Kono would have been in the cut episode. guess we'll never know

I agree with you, build up would have been nice, but I'll forgive them under the circumstances. Also, the actors rocked it.

I have been there. I was 80K into my epic when they told me Danny had a dog. Which I was like, "Nope, not editing, you assholes." And again when Steve turned out to have been in the Army-Navy academy. Murp.

Steve was sooooooo brilliant and perfect and gorgeous and badass and I have all the feelings because OMG he kicked ASS. Loved it so much.

Danny, yeah, OMG. Anyone who wants to get to Steve has got to go through him, fuck that.

The end gave me all the feelings ever omg. I'm all leached out and blissfull.

Gushing. Gushing is good.

The storyline deserved more of a build up...
I wonder if in the episode that was cut, due to Alex going to rehab, we had some build up to that. Her relationship with Adam was totally out of left field

Yeah, it's possible. There was a hint last week, so it's possible they were planning more. After all, lots of storylines were cut short.
