Hawaii Five-0 ep 2.22: OMG FEEEELINGS
I was promised all the feelings, and I have all the feelings! OMG, that was so beautiful! Danny, Steve, Danny & Steve, Danny/Steve... It was all very gay and slashy and gorgeous, and even though I suspect that in the long run I'll take issue with Kono/Adam, I enjoyed it here and thought they were well matched. (Side note: Steve, you should tell your people what you know. Because you knew about Adam.)
Loved the drama. Utterly adored it. Seeing Steve in action again was just gorgeous, the rifle, the emo, the drama -- he piloted another helo, which is fast becoming a kink for me, and he was in SEAL mode and I adore him when he gets like that. I loved that Wo Fat didn't escape, because I kept expecting it and my expectations were not met, which, yay. Loved the fight scene between these two, suspect I'll revisit that soooo frequently.
Chin was lovely, and Kono, and especially Grace Park, were allowed to shine. Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. I'm a huge Adam Noshimuri fan, and for a moment there, I thought we lost him, but no, our girl saved him and well. Loved it. The storyline deserved more of a build up, but they're a nice pairing and yeah, I can live with this. *nods*
Saving the best for last, because well. Scotty Caan. How you rock. He absolutely was the glue that held everything together, creating tension and beautifully understated emotions and his worry for Steve was so gorgeously understated. His anger fit well, too, I liked that you could tell at the end that he will be the one to forgive Steve last, and Steve knows it and can handle it. But wow, the gay phone sex and the "If something happens to him, I will kill you," which, meeeeeeeeeeep, was so so perfect. That's my boy.
