-how many fandoms/shows have we both watched? 'Cause its like we're always thinking of, referencing the same shows. I thought more of Pipers episode on charmed tho I also thought of buffy's episode.
So far: Xena, Charmed, Buffy, Harry Potter, Buffy
What shows have you watched? Books read? ***************
Anyway, the 200th episode was funm but SG1 is really not my show. I watch, sometimes for Vala but......eh.
Weir's episode- I had reservations about because while I liked BIS after the fact, on rewatch and it was a great episode for her I didn't really enjoy it while it was being shown. Also, from the previews I made assumptions. I'm glad I was wrong about this episode 'cause I really kind of liked it. Not love, but a healthy like. Enough for a rewacth.
What shows haven't I watched? *grins* I've watched a lot of shows. Like Dawson's Creek, One Tree Hill, Veronica Mars, etc. And Books? I've read so many I couldn't even name them all. I've been reading for like 18 years. *laugh*
I loved the Puppet part of SG-1. Reminded me of Smile Time, too. Heeh! Jossverse references all over the place for me.
Weir - I thought of Piper's episode after the fact. Like I was remembering an episode but couldn't remember which show. And then, boom. Piper. Both Buffy and Piper were being convinced it wasn't real, but Piper was more damaged than Buffy. More damaged seemed like Weir. Buffy kinda figured it out earlier on. But then Piper had to have her sister's save her, like Weir had to have John. Yeah, I think that episode applies a lot more. *nods* I liked the Weir episode enough to rewatch. I'm waiting for it now. *grins* I think TRW showed the changes of Weir through the seasons. The strength she's tapped into since then.
I was giggling like crazy during SG1 but I was bored beyond belief during SGA. I mean they could stand to learn a bit about subtlety when stealing from every other damn fandom.
Also not!Ed Norton was Cameron Frye from Ferris Bueller!
See. I really *liked* SGA. I thought it was good. It was a good look into Weir's frame of mind. And they didn't really steal the plotline. It was unique to the show because it wasn't like Buffy or Piper's episodes exactly. Just similiar.
*grins* I know it was Cam, but you know, he looked like Ed Norton to me for some reason.
Yep! I've been trying to figure out if that was him all week.
I loved the Farscape bit. *laugh* I didn't watch it, but I can appreciate it. *laugh*
I didn't feel like too much was given away. Because in the end it was a matter of Lizzie getting through it herself, and taking help, but not letting Naim win after all. They never did say if they got the Wraith tissue out of her...
I want to watch, I'm just waiting for cheap DVD seasons. Kinda like what I did with Dark Angel.
The exposition was necessary, though. I think it was pretty dark, all things considered. I mean, imagine being unable to control your life, being stuck in the middle of something like a war. Your concious fighting a tiny machine inside you.
That 200th eppie makes me want to go back and catch up on what I've missed. I really like Vala, and I always think I'm not. But she surprises me everytime.
Did you notice the jack/daniel reference during the wedding? It was SO HARD not to say anything in front of my parents lol.
I heart this episode so hard. *sheepish*
I didn't get to see all of Atlantis, and I actually kind of wanted to, cause I'm sure I'd like the show if I could just sit down and watch it without any interruptions. I like the relationship between Jon and Elizabeth.
I loved the 200th episode. Campy but good. I mostly loved the Vala though. Cause. Vala. *grins* She's like an alien Cordelia.
I did notice that reference! I think it means the writers are spending too much time onlnie. *grins* I did read a story like the one they feed Cam, only it was Sheppard instead of him that was Jack's son. Don't read it. Save yourself. Really.
SGA was one you would have had to seen last week to understand this week's. If you didn't you'd be totally lost. Do what apparently everyone else does and download the episodes. *grins* I like John and Elizabeth, but not as John/Elizabeth. I like their friendship.
