I was giggling like crazy during SG1 but I was bored beyond belief during SGA. I mean they could stand to learn a bit about subtlety when stealing from every other damn fandom.
Also not!Ed Norton was Cameron Frye from Ferris Bueller!
See. I really *liked* SGA. I thought it was good. It was a good look into Weir's frame of mind. And they didn't really steal the plotline. It was unique to the show because it wasn't like Buffy or Piper's episodes exactly. Just similiar.
*grins* I know it was Cam, but you know, he looked like Ed Norton to me for some reason.
I really wanted to like it, but their were so many things that just didnt do it for me, and all Weir all the time doesnt work for me. I sat there wondering why it took them so long to think maybe she was experiencing everyday life a la their repli- torture from the ep before. That really irked, but really it was just meh. And the Borg thing really didnt help, and I want to know if she still has nanites in her.
See, and I liked them. I think it gave a good story in Weir's past, the inferences that could be made. I think it's safe to say there are issues in her past. Plus, they had gone through a lot as it was. They might not have thought of Naim transferring nanonites to her. I mean, they were more concerned over keeping her alive.
