It has not been a good week.

Dad went into hospital last Friday after being crippled with stomach/back pain while at work.  At first we weren't too worried because the doctors said the symptoms indicated gallstones, but they phoned us on Saturday and it turned out what he had was an abdominal aortic aneurysm which needed prompt surgery.  So we spent ( Read more... )
