Soooo.  Dad's in hospital getting the stents in his kidneys replaced.  I know it's supposed to be a routine operation and all that, but I'm still worried.  I'll be a lot happier when it's all over and he's home.

In the bath this evening my nephew wanted to know what I pee from if I don't have a willy.  I told him I had a hole where he had a willy and changed the subject sharpish.  Please, please, please don't let him ask me how babies are made next.  I mean I know all the...mechanics and stuff, but still....

Weather's been amazing these past few days...I can't believe that it's expected to bloody snow over the weekend!  Daisy's funny.  She follows the sun around the room over the course of the day.  They're both heat junkies, just like every other cat I've ever known.

Dad went into hospital last Friday after being crippled with stomach/back pain while at work.  At first we weren't too worried because the doctors said the symptoms indicated gallstones, but they phoned us on Saturday and it turned out what he had was an abdominal aortic aneurysm which needed prompt surgery.  So we spent ( Read more... )
