Wooo! Carl found Lucy on his way home from college, she was hanging about up the street. Someone's put a collar on her, and in the little thing around it was a note saying "Name: Rocket - though she might have another name" and their phone number, and then on the back there's a little letter saying "If you know this cat then let me know. I pulled up at home after work, got out the car, and Lucy come strolling past. My Lucy. My Lucy who has been missing for months! Was flabbergasted and a bit giddy (and a little concerned it wasn't her and just some other cat and I was going to kidnap it) but she ran down the path and jumped on the podium thing before heading straight in the flat. Hahah it's a good job Carl's a bit on the gruesome side, he's just had to change my dressings for me. My ma had said she was no way doing it and he was quite keen anyway. Very professionally done though, very good job. And we both got a good peep at the cuts.

After going about my business yesterday I decided I would have to go to the drop in centre after all, so took myself up Grindon. Saw a nurse who made me see a doctor, who made me go to the hospital who made me have my appendix out. ARGH!!!! Had it done at about ten last night, and got out around 5pm today.
