I had a great time at the Gay Pride Parade, got five sets of beads, 2 keychains, a shirt, a bracelet, 20 condoms (strawberry and vanilla flavored), 1 female condom, lube, a firm handshake from a potential Senator and a God made me sticker at the parade. Thank you,I loved the picture drag queen with the inflatable pool tutu. Winnipeg had a good turn out, I forgot to bring my memory card so I only got 20 shots but there weren't that many floats. I want to get involved with my university's GLBT association this year and suggest they march.

We did have a good turn out! Something like 1000 people.. or maybe a bit less. And yes you shold absolutely get involved, and make sure that they march!

Yeah, it would take forever to load pictures on dial-up. I agree with the other commentors on your LJ that the woman with the swastika cookies probably isn't a Nazi (I'm just feeling too lazy to comment twice :)). I've seen antiques with swastikas that predate the Holocaust and it freaked me out until I understood that it was historically a good luck symbol.
