It's rather refreshing to find out that some Universities and/or Departments are as dis-organased as ours (if not more). Or probably that's due to the nature of social sciences in general? Guess I will never know... -

Last 2 years has been very hectic and eventful - finished and defended my PhD, went to another country for a year, made a good advances in my career. But overall, some things never change. I feel like I've simultaneously become older and remained the same. It's like I've got more life experience but still feel like 10 years ago :) -

Last two week has been pretty eventful. Finished writing/editing/re-writing my PhD thesis (dissertation) and submitted it for peer review and discussion. Then got overwhelmingly positive reviews on it and secured recommendation for defence from my University Department and "External Reviewers".
