Perfect. It's what I had in mind with Christmas music. You just made it Christmas+music. You got their characters, their history, and best of all, you've captured perfectly the fire that they like to play with.

I (and Edward) particularly loved this line describing him: He was the only attendee who'd do as such: what he pleased, whenever he pleased, and consequences be damned.
