Evey wasn't sure how it had happened, but somehow she was more confused rather than less after her magic-assisted discussion with Marcus.  She knew now that he did have feelings of some type for her, but she also knew he didn't know whether those feelings were true or not.  He needed time to determine that before anything else could happen, and she

Padme was staring down at the mound of white fabric on the bed. In another life, it had perhaps been a wedding dress, or a party dress- she didn't even know, but she thanked goodness that she was so slight that she could work on remaking it into what she was actually looking for.

When she heard the knock she lifted her head, her face blossoming with a smile as she looked back at Evey. "Oh! Hello, Evey. How're you?"

Evey smiled back at Padme as she pushed open the door and cautiously stepped into the room.

"Hello. I'm not interrupting anything, am I?" she asked a little anxiously, looking at the pile of white fabric. It had a great deal of lace and she wondered what it had been originally...and what Padme was planning to do with it.

"Oh, no- not at all. I'm just-" She flushed. "We're... I'm working on a dress, because- Jay and I are getting married." She turned redder. "We're getting married on October 17th- you'll come, won't you?"

"Padme, that's wonderful!" she exclaimed. "Congratulations, and of course I'd love to attend. Do you need any help with anything?"

Not that Evey had ever really been involved with a wedding, but she had the impression that it involved a great deal of work and organization. It was perhaps less work here, though.
