Any particular reason you wanted the second dog? To keep Tyson happy when you're not home, or just felt the need? Aussie Shepards are cute, though. What are you going to name it? I hear Earl's a great name.

We've been looking at getting a second dog for a long time. But every time we found one we liked at a rescue/shelter, it was already adopted or in the process of being adopted.

Aussie shepherds are really very smart dogs, unlike Tyson.

Tyson associates 'EARL' with you to a very great extent, so unfortunately I don't think I could name the puppy after you ;D

But.. hmm.. would it make Tyson like the puppy? Or would he be upset because we'd say EARL all the time and you wouldn't be there? Hehee.

Hah. Since he wags stupidly and barks when you say my name I think it would make him like the puppy. "Earl"...Synonymous with "fun."

....Or "go-for-a-walk."

Suddenly I'm not sure I'm confortable having my name associated with toilet-time...He DID insist on crapping in my room once or twice.

Watch, Tyson will rub off on the new puppy. It'll be drooling over guests and banging its tail on wall corners by month two.

Btw, we're now getting the puppy tomorrow morning. So I'll be fawning over it during D&D.
