Congratulations on advancing another step in treatment. They'll be sorry to see you go. For one thing, that little cartoon book sounds a great idea.
First and third person are rather apples and oranges, but it does seem easier to slip up in first, especially when writing someone intelligent. He'll be wide awake all the time. Hope you don't mind my reminding you about anachronistic words like 'finalise'.
