Hillary Clinton held a town meeting on my campus today. It was so surreal that she was there - it was announced only yesterday, though rumors had been flying - only few hundred yards from me. I didn't go to see her speak, but most of the students were there, regardless of party. How often does somebody that big just pop up in your neck of the woods

Something that my friend said about Obama that amused me...I'm just copying and pasting the whole thing from his comment to one of my posts:

I really need to do some research. I want to like Obama, so I'm fighting choosing him just because he seems like a decent person. My choice needs to be reasoned, not knee-jerk. I think I'll be doing some reading today.

Yeah, I think that's a good stance to take. I'm going to try to do a lot more research too on the candidates, even though I already voted. If only more people wanted to get more informed.
