I dunno....if I had that much of a hobag for a kid (or if my 40-something tramp of a kid was still living at home) and she gave me grief about eating her haasenpfeffer, I'd knock her around one too.
Also, they play Minnie the Moocher at Swing Central. I love that song.
That was so my second thought watching that cartoon. "Why doesn't she want to eat the guy's food? ..how OLD is she supposed to be anyway?" (..and do they care that she's probably just upset that they're detaining her from pulling in tricks to pay for her obvious drug addiction?)
No idea what Swing Central is, but more EVERYWHERE should play that song. *tee* Hugh Laurie did! <3
Most horrifying thing ever. Mostly because of the end. But also mostly because of the beginning. And the middle. But apparently it's all Mickey Mouse's doing.

My animation teacher thought it was a big thing about Bimbo's sexuality, noting how fearful he was of the long, phallic swords and he feared penetration and sought safety in looming holes... I loved Marty. He spoke in low, measured tones and was snarky as anything ^_^

Thank you for the Snow White link, I'd never seen that one! Haha, loved the Bimbo and Koko guards--always fun seeing where they'll make their cameos ^^ And St. James Infirmary is my favorite Cab Calloway song, for serious!
I must confess, aside from Bimbo's Initiation and.. maybe one more, I haven't seen any other titles where Betty was still a dog T_T I was never sure what to make of her dog --> human transformation! Rushing off to look for that music vid now.
