I dunno....if I had that much of a hobag for a kid (or if my 40-something tramp of a kid was still living at home) and she gave me grief about eating her haasenpfeffer, I'd knock her around one too.
Also, they play Minnie the Moocher at Swing Central. I love that song.
That was so my second thought watching that cartoon. "Why doesn't she want to eat the guy's food? ..how OLD is she supposed to be anyway?" (..and do they care that she's probably just upset that they're detaining her from pulling in tricks to pay for her obvious drug addiction?)
No idea what Swing Central is, but more EVERYWHERE should play that song. *tee* Hugh Laurie did! <3

My animation teacher thought it was a big thing about Bimbo's sexuality, noting how fearful he was of the long, phallic swords and he feared penetration and sought safety in looming holes... I loved Marty. He spoke in low, measured tones and was snarky as anything ^_^
To Fleischer's credit, he did SAY they were the Japanese. You just wouldn't know it from the long braided queues and the cheongsam and the Chinese opera music that accompanied them every time they were onscreen XP

Man, that totally reminds me. I read Authority all the way through again and need to draw fanart. Like, NEED to draw fanart. Though I'm fresh out of ideas.
